Muse Studio opened in Barcelona in 2012. Our founder — a colorist who trained here and later spent several years working in London — kept noticing the same pattern: most color problems weren't caused by bad technique, they were caused by a skipped or rushed consultation. So she built a studio where that couldn't happen.

The consultation isn't a box we tick. Before any color appointment, we look at your hair's history — previous chemical treatments, home color, damage — and ask what your week actually looks like. "Balayage" means something different for hair that gets washed every day than for hair that gets washed twice a week. We make sure we're talking about the same result before we mix anything.

We're not interested in impressive before-and-after photos that your hair can't sustain. What we want is for your hair to look good when you wake up on a Thursday three months from now — not just on the day you walked out of here. If we think what you're asking for will cause damage, we'll tell you. And we'll show you what we think would actually work.
